I also want to join the ROTC program at Central. This program will help strengthen my leadership skills and focus on teamwork and discipline. These are skills that will help me grow as a person and prepare me for a career in the future.

Another reason why I want to join ROTC is to learn more about the military. Several of my family members have served in the military. This includes my paternal grandfather as well as my maternal great-grandfather who are both veterans. My mom is in the military right now. I want to be 4th generation in my family to join the military. This will create a path to pay for college courses and earn a degree.
