AVID has helped me grow into a leader and focus on the future

Prepares me for college - Allows me to visit colleges and learn about different career paths. I want to attend UofL or an HBCU so this exposure is important.

 

Helps me with note taking and goal setting - The program has helped me with discipline in studying and helps prepare me for completing work and tasks in high school.

Mentorships - Introduced me to leaders in various careers who can become mentors in the future.
